What They're Saying... |
 |
"While many things about Asia remain a mystery to me, I can speak with great conviction about at least one item: Asian Access. I am very impressed with their staff, their strategy, their humility and their focus.
It is clear that from their President, Doug Birdsall, on down, the men and women on the Asian Access team are committed to two things: partnering with all who seek to win Asia for Christ, and two, serving the Asian Christian leaders so that the leadership of the national church is indigenous. It is a privilege to lend my name to this ministry."

Asian Access Missionary Behind Bars
JAPAN | Greg Davis, Church Planting Missionary in Kyushu, Japan
"I find myself spending more and more time behind bars. That is to say, I've had several opportunities to assist in ministry inside the oppressively dark, most heavily guarded prison in Japan. In December, I was privileged to be a part of the baptism of the third inmate from this prison. Mr. K. was baptized as a testimony of his faith. Words cannot express the joy I felt seeing this man changed and hearing his testimony of how meeting Jesus has changed his heart and life."
210 of the 800 men attended the Christmas service conducted by Davis' church. About 40 men raised their hands to accept Christ. The church hopes to plant a church in this prison, and 40 men are studying the Bible each month.

Small Groups Engaging with God
JAPAN Veteran missionary Dee Wirz, author of 12 English Bible Study Texts
"My six small groups are continuing to grow in faith and understanding of what it means to have a personal relationship with God. Though many are not Christians, we always conclude our Bible study time with each person saying something to God in response to what they have heard from Him in His Word. I am amazed at the honesty, freshness and genuineness of their prayers -- so conversational and down-to-earth while addressing heaven."
