Why A2?

Why are we serving with Asian Access?

Coming soon...

Background Info

In 2001 the Lord called us into missions service in Japan. Prior to that, Scott had a 30-year long career with two major US corporations, where his specialty was consulting in operations improvement. We accepted Christ as our savior in 1980, and since then have sought to serve Him in the church in many ways. Just before coming to Japan, Kathi was a group leader with Bible Study Fellowship and Scott was an elder at Boulder Valley Christian Church.

Ministry Assignment

In Japan, Kathi has been working on neighborhood outreach, building relationships with neighborhood women in order to share the gospel.

Scott has been doing research into evangelism strategy, trying to identify new strategic opportunities to revitalize church growth in Japan. He has served on the executive committee of the Japan Evangelical Missionary Association (JEMA) and has been taking a lead role in helping JEMA revitalize its ministry for the 21st century. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the Church Information Service (CIS). In this role he has been helping CIS reshape its focus and leadership to strengthen its impact.

A Recent Change

Due to the need to care for an ailing family member, we are planning to relocate to Springfield, MO in mid-August, 2008. From Springfield, Scott will continue to follow up on some strategic initiatives we’ve begun in Japan.
