EnVision: Program Details

Who should consider EnVision?

The ideal candidates for EnVision are individuals/couples very interested in Japan, church planting, and/or long term ministry. We will be looking for individuals/couples qualified for Church Planting Associates. Participants may include college students, Urbana delegates, Asian Access j-Teams alumni, professional couples exploring the option of missions, people who are set on ministering in Japan, or people who have been a part of a church plant in the U.S. and are considering planting churches overseas. We'd also consider gatekeepers who are looking for strategic partnerships in the area of church planting.

What is EnVision?

EnVision is designed to allow you to experience in a short amount of time what it's like to be a missionary in Japan. In less than 2 weeks, we'll visit church planting networks, take cultural plunges, join missionaries for their various ministries, attend services at Japanese churches, stay with missionaries and locals, and get a feel for what it would be like to go back longer term. You'll also attend some excellent seminars given by Asian Access staff and missionaries regarding Japan, church planting, and discerning God's call on your life. You'll have an opportunity to observe, engage, reflect, and seek God's direction.

When will EnVision take place?

EnVision is fairly open, depending upon your own availability, as well as that of the missionaries helping to coordinate your time in Japan.

How much will it cost?

Costs will vary, depending on length and location. For example, the support costs for a recent trip was $1700 + the international flight.

How do I apply?
Click here and fill out the survey stating your interest.

We'll contact you in a couple of days to answer any questions you may have and walk you through the application process.
