The world went through some monumental shifts during my tenure in mission leadership. While many had been talking about partnership and collaboration, as well as paternalism and colonialism for many years, it was during early in my 30 years of ministry that major changes were burgeoning in many ways. New member joins A2 board

I am very encouraged by the appointment of Mr. Kazuaki "Kaz" Uemura to our Asian Access Board of Directors. Mr. Uemura is one of a few Japanese speaking estate planning attorneys in the South Bay area of Southern California. His firm, Law Offices of Kazuaki Uemura, also specializes in business law, civil litigation and real estate law.

Kaz serves as chairman of his church missions committee at Palos Verdes Baptist Church, a church very interested and committed to Japan. He has led several mission trips to Japan and is connected to a few Asian Access staff already. His passion for Japan is obvious...
