I wanted to pass along this important message from our colleagues and partners in Asia. Let's join in prayer.
Rev. Dr. Joseph W. Handley, Jr., Ph.D.
President, Asian Access
A call to end the war between Russia and Ukraine and to pray for peace!
Evangelical leaders in Asia condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and call for an immediate end to the attacks. We call on the church in Asia to pray for reconciliation and peace between Russia and Ukraine. We call upon churches around the world to pray for restoration and long-term peace.
Join us in sharing your prayers and concerns for Russia and Ukraine!
I have great news to share about the 2021 giving challenge issued to Asian Access by some very generous financial partners last year!
Recently I was interviewed by Evangeline Hsiao for her podcast, Care Package for Japan...
The purpose of this podcast is to showcase how much God loves Japan through different stories of people. It is like God sending a care package to the ones He loves in Japan!
This post is a little later than I had hoped because our family was hit with the coronavirus variant over the holidays. We are deeply grateful for your prayers and appreciate you for the way we journey together in life and mission.
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.”
— James 1:17
Merry Christmas Everyone!
The Christmas season each year highlights our heavenly Father's demonstrated love for us in sending his Son, the Light of the World. We are reminded that God initiates first and then invites us to respond to his love. And the incarnation of Immanuel—God with us—is the best and most perfect gift from above.
As our world becomes increasingly complex, I’m thrilled to announce that James Choung has joined our Council of Reference. James leads strategy and innovation for InterVarsity USA and these are days where these two attributes are essential for ministry. He’s also a student of Dr. Bobby Clinton in leader formation which has been so vital to Asian Access. He’s adapted the ideas and framework Bobby developed for the next generation, a generation that is pivotal for the future of the Church.
